Purposefully Welcoming
We are camping in Holland State Park and met another couple with a teardrop, conversation ensued for some hours and one of the things they passed along was an experience with a TearJerkers gathering.
Our first TearJerkers gathering with the Buckeye Chapter was purposefully welcoming with folks inviting us to participate in our new teardrop about 14 years ago. Every gathering we have been to since has been positive.
Thier experience was that those there were clickish and did not try to include/invite them. I suggested that perhaps if they can make it CRA would be a more positive experience.
