    Campfire cabbage

    Cut, quarter and core head of cabbage. Wrap in a slice or two of bacon, salt and pepper to taste. Wrap in foil and cook until soft over the fire (or grill).

    Sometimes I'll add onion and or butter. Another quick and easy but so good side dish. Typically, I'll do the prep ahead of time and keep in Ziploc bags until ready to cook.
