  • Don't have a Tear Drop Yet, but was a Pop-Upper

Hi, I am new to the group. When my kids were young we had a pop-up and camped for a number of years. But I sold it when it needed more love and attention than I was giving it. Plus it was nice to sell my big gas-guzzling truck. Now that we are becoming empty-nesters, my wife and I would like to go back camping. I don't think an RV or big trailer is in the cards, but a small tear-drop that I can pull behind my Toyota Rav4 would be our style. I feel buying a teardrop is a waste (because I have a lot of equipment already) so I think I will build one. Has luck would have it, my brother is getting rid of his broken pop-up, so he gave it to me and I am going to tear it down for the frame and parts.

When we camped in our pop-up, we belonged to a pop-up club and I am looking forward to getting to know this community.
