I'm DJ Davis, the Lone Star Chapter director. Welcome to the group! I live in San Antonio on the east side. I'm in a dark mood lately and...wait, not THAT kind of "dark"... I haven't been to a "Dark Skies" park yet and that's on my short list. I'm looking to make a trip to South Llano State Park in the near future. I see you're in Kerrville, so watch for the notice on our chapter's tab. Yes, it's summer and hot, but I've got A/C in my camper. I just hope I can get a campsite on a clear night. Weather is always "the wild card." Like you, I'm retired, so I can look for weekday vacancies now at the parks. Woo-hooooo!
