I am Jay and my wife Claudia love the outdoors and camping. I have a 32 foot camper but when we go camping we normally tent camp. I am getting ready to start to build a teardrop and looking forward to meeting a bunch of great people and get ideas to use in my build, if you ever get to Ocracoke, NC give me a shout!

Hello Jay. I also have a travel trailer but have always liked tear drop campers and still like to tent camp when I go off by myself. I stumbled across a great deal on a 1947 retro tear drop built by an Airstream restoration shop. It is new but still needs to be outfitted with electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Looking forward to finishing it and doing some solo camping in it.
I am headed to the OBX in October for a bluegrass festival. If I get down to Ocracoke I will give you a holler.
