  • Adhesive removal

I've replaced a flat solar panel with a couple of frame mounted units. The left behind adhesive is an absolute bear to remove with any kind of efficiency. Do any of you fellow tear droppers have any suggestions for removal and clean up. Your insights are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

What's the surface and what type of adhesive?

Surface is composite. I have no idea what the adhesive is they used to hold the panel on with.

Have had luck spraying WD40 on and letting it sit a couple of days before scraping.

Thank you Steve. It did work. Dawn dishwashing detergent took the left behind oil right off as well.
